Oh man... I totally want to cover my office walls with these recycled cardboard "wall pockets"! They're available in three colors, but I'm sure you could paint them to suit your needs. I'm thinking a blast of white spray paint for the outside and maybe some neon pink for the interior would suit me just fine.

I had this exact Expedit bookcase in my old office (along with a million other people), but I never liked the door and shelf inserts that were available from IKEA. If it were still in my possession, I'd be more than half tempted to try this raw wood door hack that Karla Jean Davis and James Abercrombie shared recently on IKEA Hackers. What do you guys think?
These limited edition letterpress calendars are sure to make a splash in your--okay, sorry. I mean, hello, how often do I get to drop a swimming or water related pun on here??
Please forgive me and just buy a calendar.

More pics!
I don't know if these lamp shades by Debbie Powell are for sale, but my-oh-my are they gorgeous! They could certainly inspire a DIY lamp shade makeover, don't you think? Check out more of her work here.
I love these upcycled material tea light holders from London-based designer James Tattersall. With the right skills, I have the feeling they'd make a pretty easy DIY project, too!
So, right, I don't know how to surf (if we're being honest, I barely know how to doggie paddle--WHAT?), but I love these surf boards so, SO much. I mean, it's kind of absurd how much I love them... considering I don't surf. Or swim. Or live anywhere near a body of water that would warrant the use of a surf board. But anyway, surf boards by Chandelier Creative in collaboration with Saturdays. They're awesome.
Frankly, I've never used a charger plate in my entire life, but that doesn't mean these awesome painted birch chargers from Wolfum won't make me start! Are you with me??
Naoki Yoshimoto invented this puzzle in 1971 after trying to discover a way to divide a cube equally. The result is a peculiar polyhedral dyad consisting of eight interconnected cubes that can be divided in multiple ways. As for those flashy metallics? No one can resist a shiny object! That's a universal truth.
Turns out, dual/flip/reversible sectionals are all the rage (remember this Gus-inspired one from CB2?), and I'm totally okay with that. I mean, why would you want to invest in a quality, modern sectional only to have it not work in a future space?? That would be sad. What's not sad is G. Romano brand's newest piece, the Porter Flip Sectional. It looks super comfy yet clean and tailored--and--it's available in 11 fabric options! It's all kinds of 'win'. Moral of the story: fixed position sectionals are lame; flip sectionals are smart. Get one.
Flip Sectional available from Velocity Art and Design.
These coat hooks from Pat Kim remind me of those old school bike hooks you screw into the wall (anyone? anyone?), except in splashy colors of course! This wall hook only requires a single nail, though, and holds up to an impressive 30 pounds. Available in pink or purple and your choice of brass or aluminum.

Oh, Best Made. You do it to me every time. From beautifully-designed first aid kits to lamp cords and, of course, those sexy axes, there isn't a thing they can do wrong. This gorgeous bottle of certified organic, pure US grade A, medium amber maple syrup is proof of that. In a word: YUM.
P.S. This maple syrup comes from North Family Farms, a 60-year-old New Hampshire-based family farm that harvests their syrup using renewable energy, bio diesel, and sustainably harvested firewood. This particular batch is made specifically for Best Made!
You know how irresistible this cutlery from Core Bamboo is to me, right?? As a lover of all things bright and colorful, it pretty much knocks not one but both of my sock off. Available in 11 colors, each set is made from 100% organically grown bamboo.
It's a speaker! Shaped like a skull! What do you guys think: yay or nay?
Available in white or black piano lacquer as well as our favorite of favorites: walnut.
Leather cases with contrast stitch detailing? Yummy! Whether you've got a tablet, a laptop, or a smartphone, CB2's got you covered. Extra random bonus: each of these cases comes with an exterior business card slot.
I love these minimal Christmas decorations, especially that funny little santa guy! Each of these lacquered wood pieces is on sale right now from West Elm--but WAIT! Have you seen this modern DIY nutcracker our buddy Chris at Curbly made?? It looks just like the white West Elm one and is a fraction of the cost. Check it out. Make it. But also pick up one of those weird santas.
Coolest. Vases. Ever. I need to get my hands on one of these beauties from Oregon-based glass works studio Vitreluxe ASAP! The "Apollo" design is truly my favorite, though every collection is out-of-control-good. Check them all out here.

Inspired by his wife's pregnant belly (endearing?), these pot bellied piggy banks from designer George Lee are a fun twist on a classic style. Available in glossy white or matte black porcelain.
P.S. "B.B." stands for "the Bigger, the Better".
Sometimes all you need is a little bit of confetti to get you going! Thankfully, you can get the party started every day with one of these hand-printed calendars from Red Star Ink. Printed on heavy recycled felt stock, this sturdy wall calendar will hold up through a year's worth of shenanigans.

I'm guessing the name of this new chair from DwellStudio is an ode to Hans Wegner because there's definitely a little (okay a lot) of Mid-Century Danish flair going on. Which is a-okay by me. I'm trying to decide which I like better though: the "caramel" leather color or the "dove" grey! Yum.
