Ikea lover rejoice! The maker of Scandinavian flat packed goodness has a new inspirational website called Share Space. Despite the somewhat awkward URL, it looks like a promising site. You can browse photo's sent in by fellow ikeaphiles or even upload your own. Just like the online catalogue you can tag all the products in your space. It's a good way to see what other people are doing, and maybe even get some good inspiration for your next project. The new website also includes a burgeoning blog as well.

Studio Dunn has been a long time favorite here at GRM, and we've talked about some of their great stuff here and here in the past. I'm excited to announce that they have some great new products that are just coming fresh out of the shop. My favorite of them is the Tessie chair shown above. As always, the line are absolutely gorgeous, and I especially love the organic scandinavian inspired lines where one piece of wood meets another. Check out the detail shot after the jump.

Last week I received an email from UK based designer Kirsty Whyte sharing with me some of her great design work that has recently gone into production. One of my favorites of the bunch is the Drew Collection shown above, which is currently available through Modus.
She also has some really great scandinavian influenced pieces that were recently picked up by Heals (how have I never heard of Heals before?). Both the Twist table and the Walnut Candlestick are fantastic.
Last, but not least, she has a clever little Limpet hook that is on Made.com. Vote for it now and it could also go into production.
A huge congrats to Kirsty on all her recent success and well deserved recognition.

Eloise Renouf is a UK-based stationery and textile designer whose Etsy shop features large limited edition prints of some of her designs. I'm a big fan of her retro / MCM aesthetic, aren't you? If so, be sure to snag a print or two from her shop and check back often - she's always adding new pieces!
We've mentioned the work of Dee Adams before on GRM, but it's been nearly two years. I was checking it today to see if there was anything new, and while the art is basically the same you can now get 18 x 24 prints for a mere $30. That's a lot of sexy mid century goodness for not a lot of coin. These just got bumped up to the top of my wish list.

World traveling Swedish design duo Glimpt pretty much have it nailed when it comes to gorgeous, tool free knock down furniture. The sideboard shown above has milled grooves underneath for easy mounting of the wire supports. Details like the graceful arc on the legs and the wooden drawer glides make this simple sideboard really work, and the yellow pop of color makes it oh so Scandilicious. Yes. Scandilicious. Like Scandinavian + Delicious.

I'll admit that, in the photo at least, this lamp shade looks a little bit like an under-stuffed bed pillow. BUT, I think it could work really well in certain modern homes, especially ones with a more organic aesthetic (lots of white, wood, minimal decor, etc.). What do you guys think? Also, did I mention that this shade is only $5? Yeah, chew on that.
Chinese design firm Smart Woodhouse seems to know a thing or two about clean minimalist design. Their work which is composed mostly of beech wood furniture with rounded forms has more of a Scandinavian feel to it than the more traditional angular mimiimalism of the east. The end result however is a simple, warm and beautiful. Now if only there was a way to get a hold of their stuff stateside. I would gladly pay $520 Chinese Yuan ($80 USD) for that coat rack.

Holy smokes, guys! These handmade iron pitchers are absolutely gorgeous. Crate&Barrel definitely channeled their inner Mid-Century Danish designer with these puppies. Available individually or as a complete set.
One of our more well traveled readers turned me on to Menu a fantastic Scandinavian company that he found in South Africa of all places. No matter where you are though, you have to admit they makes some beautiful stuff. I'm particularly enamored with these Norm Bottle Grinders for salt and pepper. Enamored as in I am currently considering which organ I am willing to donate to get my hands on a set. The only US retailer is in Carlsbad, CA so it looks like its time for a road trip.

I know it's hard to even thing about hot drinks when temperatures are creeping into the triple digits, but this Tea Kettle by NORM Architects is just to sexy to pass up. The clear glass design has equal parts scandinavian and asian flare to it. The built in stainless steel tea ball is attached with a silicone tether and sits up out of the way when it's all done brewing. Maybe we can harness some of that sun to make sun tea?

OK everyone, if you aren't already following Love Nordic its time to get on board. Yesterday Samantha posted about this fantastic Lamino chair that I had never heard of before. It's made by Swedese and comes with a whole range of different upholstery choices. The side table is also made by Swedese. Make sure you check out the rest of the photos on Love Nordic that include an amazing blend of plywood and sheepskin pulled off like only the Scandinavians can do.

Earlier this year I mentioned that I was falling deeper and deeper in love with scandinavian design. More recently on pinterest I have been obsessing over farmhouse tables in modern settings. So it was pretty much unavoidable that I would fall in love with the picture of these FermLiving Marionette dishes at Huset. I love the bold color and pattern juxtaposed with the raw wood table and stark white built in shelving in the background. Yes, I just used "love" three times in 4 sentences. Deal with it.

Every now and then, West Elm has some decent MCM/Scandinavian-inspired furniture, so when I took a look at their Fall sneak peek, I was happy to see this little number. The Dumont Buffet has some enviable lines and a white/wood/metal combo that's irresistible. Add to that loads of storage space and this is one piece you'll definitely want to consider!
My kids are growing up fast, and are quickly approaching bunk bed age. I'm loving this playful custom modern bunk bed designed by Finnish design firm Aalto + Aalto. The design was inspired by a teehouse, and it's modular and can be arranged into different configurations.

I've had my eye on the Kapu Coffee Scoop and Bag Closer ever since I first spied it on svpply, and I figured it was about time to share. Made of birch plywood this little guy is like the MacGyver or mornings, conquering coffee baddies and keeping them in their place. OK That may be going a little far. But it looks amazing right?
